Ladnun Jain Tirth - Bh. Shantinath

Location : 210 Kilometers Away From Jaipur By Road.

Ladnun is an ancient and historical place where Jain idols were excavated from earth, from time to time. Not only idols, but workship utensils were also found. The oldest temple of this place is called Bada Mandir which is 11 feet below the plinth level. The pillars and ceiling of the temple are most fantastic. This temple is dedicated to Bhagwan Shantinath. One idol of Jain sarswati 3 ¼ feet high is existing along with other idols in different vedies.

One temple situated outside the city boundary "Such Sadan" is purely made of marble and present a magnificent view in the electric light.

At a distance of about 2-3 Kilometers from Ladnun the only Jain University- Vishwa Bharti Jain Research Institute is worth mentionable where Jain scholars are engaged in research work.
