History of Shri Dantpatak Teerth : According to history Shri Dantpatak Teerth dates back to the ancient times. Ruins of many temples and idols can be seen here. Many stone inscriptions can be seen here that proves that this place is as old as 11th century A. D. In 1236 of the Vikram Samvat Era revered Acharya Shri Vijaysom Suriswarji established the kingdom of Roul Raja Gajsinhji. Later a new temple was constructed and the idol was reinstalled in it. The old temple was declared to be a reserved location as a dam was constructed in the vicinity.

Temple of Shri Dantpatak Teerth : The temple of Shri Dantpatak Teerth houses the idol of Bhagwan Rishabh Dev. The Swetambara temple has been magnificently decorated with intricate artistic designs. The creative temple work boast about the skills of the craftsmen. The walls of the temple have been beautifully designed with ancient paintings. The idol of the Lord is almost 67 cm in height and is white in colour. It is seated in a padmasana posture. The idol has been beautifully carved from a single stone and looks very appealing. The smiling face of the Lord looks very calm and serene. Apart from this there is a famous Ambaji Temple in the vicinity that is also deeply revered.

The temple of Shri Dantpatak Teerth organises many annual gatherings and functions. There are provisions for dharamshalas or rest houses for the pilgrims. These are well equipped with all modern facilities. Apart from this there are Upashrays, an Ayambilshala and a Jnanabhandar. The temple being located in a village is enclosed by scenic beauty that enthrals and fascinates the pilgrims.
