Bhagwan Mahaveer Institute Of Engineering and Technology was established by Bhagwan Mahaveer Education Trust in the academic session 1999 - 2000 and is entering into its third year. During the last two years, the Institute has made excellent progress in developing necessary infrastructural facilities for imparting quality education in modern technology. The sole motto of the institute is to equip young boys and girls with technical, scientific and management skills to face the challenges of 21stcentury.
The policy of liberalisation and globalisation adopted by the Government of India has made it imperative for all of us, especially the younger generation to prepare for global competition. With the help and cooperation of all concerned, the institution will strive hard to achieve the goal of making India a leading nation in modern technology.
Bhagwan Mahaveer Education Trust was established with inspiration from Upadhyaya Shree Gupti Sagar Ji Maharaj, to promote education with special emphasis on modern, technical and vocational education in healthy and peaceful surroundings and enable young boys and girls to face the challenges of the new Millenium competitively. As a first step in this direction, the trust has established an institute of Engineering and Technology by the name of Bhagwan Mahaveer Institute of Engineering And Technology, Sonepat.
Recognition of Institution : B. M. Institute of Engineering & Technology has been recognized by the following authorities.
Infrastructure : The main campus spans over an area of 15 acres including seperate hostels for boys and girls. The college structure is unique in itself and describes all the qualities of modern and high-end technical structures. It has been designed for proper ventilation and is made to look spacious and hustle free. All the labs and rooms are attached to seprate corridors which gives a very airy look to the college. The college building is surrounded by beautiful lawns and gardens and maintains lush greenery on it's boundaries .The reception of the building is centrally air conditioned with splendid interiors.
Bmiet Library : BMIET library is fully equipped with over 10,000 books on more than 1,500 titles from various branches of engineering and technology. Along with the books needed for the curriculum, it also houses a number of magazines and periodicals related to modern technology for the overall development of students. Hostlers can access the library at any hour of the day. All the records are maintained by the means of computers.
