Vijaymangalam Tirth - Tamil Nadu

Location : 20 Kilometers From Erode City Village Wastipuram

There is a tremendous fort all around this place. An artistic statue of Bhagwan Chandrapuabhu is there. The upper lofty of the gate reminds its dignity from the very distance. Panchkalyanaka glory and statues of twenty-fore Tirthankars are marked on the pillars and roof of the temple. The statues of different Tirthankars and Bhagwati Ambika Devi are worth seeing. This place was the main city among 24 cities of kongunandu in the sixth century A. D. The King Konguvellar had erected a grand and artistic temple. There was a monastery of Tamil Kovinds of the same century, from which statues of five Kovinds still exist. It is called Amneshwar temple now.
