Jain Tirth - Bh. Parshwanath

Reshandigiri, Madhya Pradesh


 

This temple of Chintamani Parshwanatha is located at Reshandigiri village on a tall hill, 56 kilometers away from Sagar railway station in Chhattarpur district of Madhya Pradesh. The idol is 11 feet tall in standing pose. The inscription on the walls of the temple show that it was built in Vikram Samvata 1109. It is believed that Samvsaran of Bhagwan Parshwanatha was held here.
