Over the years, this great institution — once a symbol of hope, justice, and global unity — appears to have become old, worn out, and largely ineffective in addressing the challenges of our times. The United Nations, which was founded to safeguard peace and protect humanity, seems to have lost its commanding influence and control. Disturbingly, even small nations today tend to disregard its resolutions and moral authority.

The world is witnessing multiple conflicts, humanitarian crises, and violations of international law — yet, in many of these cases, the United Nations remains a silent spectator. Such inaction undermines the very purpose for which this institution was created.

The time has come for a bold rejuvenation of the United Nations — to rediscover its relevance, strength, and capacity to act decisively. The UN should not leave member countries to their fate. Instead, it must take proactive and impartial involvement wherever there are threats to international peace, human rights violations, or ongoing wars.

A stronger, re-energized United Nations can once again become the beacon of hope the world urgently needs — an institution that commands respect, enforces peace, and restores faith in collective human progress.

With great expectations and sincere faith in your leadership, I appeal to you to initiate meaningful reforms and revival measures that will make the United Nations responsive, respected, and effective once again.
