Location : 65 Kilometers Away From Mahoba Rail Station on Jhansi-Munikpur Line. 176 Kilometers From Jhansi

Khajuraho is the legacy of the Chandella dynasty. King Yasovarman began the area of temple construction here, and that to go on to become one of the country's major tourist attractions. Eighty-Five such temples were built, of which about twenty have survived. The murals and motifs depict scenes from hunting, feasting, dancing - with special stress on the sensual and the erotic. Jain temples dedicated to Bhagwan Adinath and Shantinath are worth mentionable. The attraction of Ghantai temple is hanging wells and a creepers in pillars in which the pictures of 16 dreams seen by Tirthankar's mother are depicted.

Apart from temples, this place is very shoppers delight, Specially Silver / Goods and Brassware. Archaeological Museum houses sculptures and stone panels of the ruined Jain and Vaishanaya temples is three different galleries.
