Location : Dhola Junction the Nearest Railway Station, is at a distance 19 Kilometers from here. This sacred place is on the Ahmedabad - Palitana Main Road. Palitana is at a distance of nearly 48 Kilometers from here. Buses and taxis are readily, available vehicles here. There are also boarding and lodging facilities.
Mulnayak : Nearly 91 cms. high, white - colored idol of Bhagawan Adishvar in the Padmasana posture.
History : The ancient name of Vallabhpur was Vamilpur. It was the capital of the kings of the Maurya dynasty. This sacred place has a very old history. In the year 511 of the Vikram era, Devardhigani Kshamsharman and other 500 Acharyas put the Agams into script for the first time. This ancient and historical sacred place was finally consecrated by Acharya Nemisurisvarji. It is said that once upon a time, this place was at the foot of the sacred place Shartyanaya. It was here that the book ‘Shetrunaya Mahatmya’ was written by Acharya Dhaneshwarsurji. Once a great ‘Visha Vidhalya’ (University) of India, was here, Since many acts of religious significance were performed here, this sacred place is regarded to be very holy.
Other Temples : In the lower cellar of the temple, there are idols of Devardhigani Kshamashraman and other five hundred Acharyas. They look very beautiful. In the compound of this temple, there is Guramandir (temple) of Vijaynemisurishvarji. In the village, there is another temple of Bhagawan Parshvanath.
art Work : The idols of Devardhigani Kshmasharmana and the other 500 Acharyas are artistically made. Nowhere is India, there is such a beautiful temple. Old artistic relics are also seen here.
