Bhakti Vihar Jain Tirth - Bh. Parshvanath
Main Idol : Nearly 154 cms. high white-colored idol of Bhagawan Bhakti Parshvanath in the Padmasana Posture.
Location : Harij, the nearest railway station is 8 kilometers away and Viramgam is 62 kilometers away. Bus service and other vehicles are easily available here. There are good Dharmashala, an upashraya and a lecture-hall. The Ashram for the old, the dispensary, the Gurukul, the library and the beautiful garden are very well planned.
History : "Wave many flags, wave many flags in Shankhesvar". This was the last desire of His Holiness Acharya Bhaktisurishvarji Maharaj Saheb. That is the reason why His Holiness Acharya Premsurishvarjis and Subodhsurisvarji under auspicious inspiration and auspicious blessings of their guru, materialised the plan of the 108 Bhaktivihar Parshvanath Temple. This splendid idol was formally installed on the fifth day of the bright half of the month of Magh in the year 2045 of the Vikram Era.
Art & Sculpture : Among temples with vast summits, this new and splendid temple of the 108 Parshvanath Bhaktivahar is really an extraordinary, peaceful and beautiful temple in India. On a large piece of land of 84 thousand sq. ft., this splendid temple is 72 ft high. 108 idols bearing 108 names of Bhagawan Parshvanath are installed in different sanctuaries at the same place. There is an idol of Nakodaji Parshvanath in the main small temple to the right of the chief idol and there is an idol of Jirawala Parshvanath in a small temple to the left of the main idol. The idols of Lakshmidevi, Chakresvaridevi, Padmavatidevi and Acharya Bhaktisurisvarji are installed in this temple.
