Jain Tirth - Bh. Adinath

Chitrakoot, Rajasthan

The temple of Shri Adinath Bhagwan is located at a height of 560 meters on a tall hill close to the fort of Chitrakoot and can be reached from Chitrakoot railway station. The remains of various ancient Jain temples can be seen all around the area from where many statues have been recovered. There is also a large temple of Mira Bai and a Jain Kirtistambh.
