LOCATION : IT IS SITUATED IN DESHBHUSHAN NAGAR, JAIPUR, RAJSTHANIn 1953 Janm Kalyanak ceremony of Bh. Parshwanath was organised at Deshbhushan Nagar, Jaipur, under the guidance of Acharya Shree Deshbhushan Ji and the place of ceremony was named as 'Choolgiri'. In April 1966 the idol of Bh. Parshwanath in Khadgasan posture was established along with the idols of Bh. Mahavir & Neminath in a panchKalyan ceremony. In 1982 another Panchkalyanak Ceremony was organised. In this ceremony white coloured, 21 feet high idol of Bh. Mahavir was established and the place was named as Mahavir chowk under the guidance of Acharya Shree Deshbhushan Ji. Choolgiri Temple offers the facility of dharmshala (28 rooms) and bhojanshala to all the visiting pilgrims. In the temple complex a library and a dhyan kendra are also constructed. A water shed is also constructed which has a capacity of 18 lakh ltr. Wheel chair facility is provided to handicapped and old persons in the temple. To reach to the temple you can climb on foot from the main road (1008 steps of six inches each). Otherwise, take vehicular road upto the temple.
