The fifth Annual National Conference of "Shri Akhil Bhartiya Shwetambar Jain Murtipujak Yuvak Mahasangh" was held on 2nd and 3rd October 2004 at Shri Vijay Vallabh Smarak, G.T. Karnal Road, Delhi. Over 850 delegates from all over India attended the conference. The conference was held under the auspicious and inspiring presence and blessings of Acharya Shri Vijay Nityanand Surishwar Ji, Acharya Shri Vijay Dharam Dhurander Surishwar Ji, Acharya Shri Vijay Virender Surishwar Ji, and Acharya Shri Vijay Vasant Surishwar Ji.

The members of Delhi Yuvak Mahasangh under the motivating, inspirations of their conveynors Shri Deepak Jain and Shri Nitin Dugar worked restlessly to give the program a vast canvass and a role model of excellent planning and implementations.

The first day of the conference started with the flag hoisting and lighting of sacred lamp ceremonies. The delegates and guests were welcomed by Shri Nitin Dugar. The All India President Shri Lalit Nahata made an inspiring appeal to the members to create awareness for our responsibilities towards the religion and society. The Chief Guest of the day, Dr. Satya Narain Jatia, Ex-Central Minister touched the care of the heart of the audience with his sole touching address covering the religious and socio-philosophical aspects and matters prevailing these days. Shri Bhanwar Lal Doshi, National Secretary General of Yuvak Mahasangh outlined the purpose of Mahasangh and steps being taken to fulfill them. The session concluded with the blessings and lectures of Acharya Shri Vijay Virender Surishwar Ji and Acharya Shri Vijay Vasant Surishwar Ji.

In the subsequent sessions of the day, there were soul-stirring lectures by Shri Atul V. Shah and several office bearers and other speakers highlighted the works done by their branches and other immediate matters, which were required to be addressed and implemented.

The second day of the conference began with large gatherings of the honourable office bearers of different Jain Shri Sanghs of Delhi and large presence of the delegates. The President of Yuvak Mahasangh in his inaugural address elaborated the basic purpose of its formation and the future projects, which are being taken up at state and national level.

The star attraction of the session was the inspiring address of Acharya Shri Vijay Dharam Dhurander Ji who created awareness about our rich past, our present state of affairs and how we can build a bright future for ourselves and Jain Community as a whole. The Chief guest of the session was Shri Chen Raj Jain, Chairman of Jain Group of Institutions who in his address stressed the need of education and how he envisaged the greater participation of Jain Community in the field of imparting quality education. All the Chief guests and donors contributing towards the success of program were honoured. The Yuvak Mahasangh also announced its national prizes at the State/City/Block and individual levels for outstanding contributions.

During both the days of the conference, the delegates performed sacred Pujas at the temple and massive Aarti of 1008 lamps were performed in the evening. A Jain Bhajan and cultural program was also organized in the second evening.

With the dedicated efforts and hard work of Delhi branch and Massive participation at all India level, this conference took a giant leap forward to fulfill the aims and objective of Yuvak Mahasangh.
