March 20th marks the 20th Anniversary of Meatout, Initially started in few states of America but now observed in all its 50 states and about Two dozen other countries including India. It is worlds’ Largest Grassroots diet Education Campaign. Meatout is Healthy, Compassionate Message that will reach the Millions of People this month. Meatout Pledge: “I pledge to Kick the Meat Habit on March 20th(the First day of Spring),at least for a day and to explore wholesome,Nonviolent diet of vegetables,fruits and grains. For Myself:By Kicking Meat Habit,I will reduce my risk of heart disease, stroke, and cancer and other chronic diseases that cripple and Kill 1.4 Million Americans Annually.I will lower my risk of food Poisioning by deadly pathogens.I will raise my Energy levels,lower my food and medicine Bill and simplify food prepration. For my Children: By Kicking Meat Habit,I will help preserve topsoil, Water and other food production resources vital to the Survival of my Children. For the Hungry World: I will free up the Grains, Soyabeans and other food, now fed to animals for food, for Worlds’ hungry People. For the Earth: I will help to preserve forests & other wildlife habitat and reduce water pollution by animal waste & crop run off. For
the Animals: by Kicking the meat habit, I will save innocent, sentiment animals
from caging, crowding, deprivation, mutilation and brutal slaughter.” We invite you to kick the meat habit & to explore wholesome, nonviolent plant-based eating. Do it for your health!
