Dr. (Miss) Chandra Mehta will always be remembered in the field of games and sports specially in the game of Table Tennis because of her remarkable achievements and contributions in the State of Rajasthan.

Miss Chandra, after trucking her schooling with flying colours in the field of Education and Games, she choose Medical Profession and became a Doctor in the year 1975. Before she help people by her profession, cruel hands of death snatched her away from this world.

Dr. Chandra attached equal importance to education, games & sports while in schooling and college. She believed and proved that games and sports also help in mental development to achieve the goal of education.

She played practically all games, to name a few like Hockey, Base Ball, Badminton besides  Table Tennis being her favorite games. She won numerous prizes and decoration while in school and  college. She represented Rajasthan in Junior Girls Hockey Competition and she was Captain in the Game of Badminton while studying in SMS Medical College.

Though she prove that she could play all  games excellently, but still table tennis was on the top of her list of games & she mastered it. She was at the top wherever she participated in Tournament and won many shield and trophies. She played practically from all the districts of Rajasthan and was on the top always. She also participated in Burmah Shell Tournaments held at Jaipur and she was the winner for 4 years successively. She was lending in N.R.S.C., University of Rajasthan, besides  she brought name for Maharani's College and S.M.S. Medical College where she had studied. She had been Table Tennis Champion in Rajasthan State for 4-5 year and ranked No. 1 for many years. She possessed excellent and impressive behavior.

She will always be remembered by the students of sports and Table Tennis in Rajasthan.
